Frequently asked questions
Is my sleep data uploaded anywhere?
Not as part of using it. CPAPView reads and parses your files inside your browser — open DevTools, watch the Network tab, and you will see your data never leaves.
The one exception is opt-in. If a folder fails to parse, you can sign in and send it to us so we can fix the bug. That takes an explicit consent step, and you can delete the upload afterwards from settings.
Do I need an account?
No. Opening your SD card and exploring your nights needs no account. Signing in exists today only for sending us a folder that failed to parse. An optional account for keeping your nights across devices is planned, and it will stay optional.
Which machines are supported?
ResMed machines that write the standard SD-card folder layout (a
DATALOG folder with EDF
files). Support for more brands is planned.
What do I need to use it?
The SD card from your CPAP machine (or a copy of its contents) and a desktop browser with WebGPU support, such as a current version of Chrome or Edge.
Is this medical advice?
No. CPAPView is an informational tool for exploring your own therapy data. Always consult your physician or sleep specialist about your treatment.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. CPAPView is free to use and requires no account.
